Prayers

ICCC Prayer Routine

At ICCC, we start the day with the Morning Offering together in our main meeting room. After morning classes, we reconvene as a group to pray the traditional meal prayers before and after lunch, followed by the Angelus (or Regina Caeli during Eastertide) at approximately noon. Finally, after the last class we end the day together with the Prayer to Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception in honor of our patron.

Morning Offering

O my Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer Thee all my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day, for all the intentions of Thy Sacred Heart. In union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass offered throughout the world, in reparation for my sins, and for the intentions of the Holy Father.

Amen.

Meal Prayers

Prayer Before Meals

Bless us, O Lord, and these Thy gifts, which we are about to receive from Thy bounty, through Christ our Lord.

Prayer After Meals

We give Thee thanks for all Thy benefits, O Almighty God, who livest and reignest forever. And may the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Amen.

Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts; that, we to whom the Incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an Angel, may by His Passion and Cross, be brought to the glory of His Resurrection. Through the same Christ our Lord.

Amen.

[℟.] Ut digni efficiamur promissionibus Christi.

[℣.] Oremus.

Amen.
